Acute Care

The acute care area of the Lindsborg Community Hospital includes 25 beds staffed by a professional, caring nursing staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. Our staff provides care for patients with acute illness, pre- and post-operative needs and emergencies. Rural nursing is our specialty, with the unique qualities and characteristics that require a broad scope of knowledge. The nursing staff is compassionate and skilled when providing for the healthcare needs of an elderly gentleman with pneumonia or for the emergent needs of a pediatric patient with a broken arm.

We believe in "taking care of anyone that walks in the door". Patients are often friends or acquaintances one sees at the grocery store or sit next to in church. Staff competency is paramount in all areas. We take pride in knowing we provide the same standard of care as a large institution, only on a much more personal level.
